My Consultative Process
My consultative process involves:
1. DISCOVERY
Before our first meeting, take a fresh inventory of your wealth, including where each asset is located and what it is worth.
During our meeting, I ask various questions that seek to capture what matters most to you. We talk about you, your lifestyle, and your passions and concerns.
Our conversation also explores your values, key relationships, total assets, and preferred manner of communication. Additionally, we consult with your tax and legal professionals in an effort to effectively dovetail the various facets of your financial situation.
2. ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATION
Based on our discussion, I analyze your personal and financial information, including liabilities, assess risks, and identify potential threats to your financial health. I then present you a personalized plan that addresses your income and cash flow needs, borrowing requirements, asset protection, retirement planning, wealth transfer, philanthropy, and other areas beyond investment management.
By carefully reviewing these topics, I strive to make you comfortable with proposed investment strategies and service providers before I implement your wealth plan.
3. IMPLEMENTATION
Once you approve your wealth plan, I seek to bring an objective approach while paying special attention to how the various parts of your plan can affect, enhance, and integrate with each other.
I also suggest seeking additional, in-depth guidance on particularly complex issues we have identified, including family dynamics, issues surrounding estate planning, lending, tax planning strategies, and more.
Whichever approach we decide on, my goal is to keep your plan on track.
4. REVIEWING OBJECTIVES
Ongoing communication is a vital component to our long-term relationship, especially as your needs and goals change throughout your life.
Your financial documents provide the foundation for regular meetings, and I review your portfolio at your request and whenever you feel that your circumstances have changed.
I seek to ensure your assets are positioned according to your evolving needs and suggest adjustments to your strategy, if necessary.
